What we keep

When a grown-up signs in to Kokoto English with Google, we receive the account's email address and a sign-in ID. With it we save the child's progress: which lessons were played and when, which words were in them, and the marks you give each word. We don't ask for the child's name, age, photo or voice.

What we don't do

No ads, no selling or sharing your data, no tracking inside the lessons. The app never uses the microphone or camera.

Where it lives

Progress is stored in Google Firebase and on your device. Only the signed-in account can read or change its own progress.

Statistics

kokoto.xyz and Kokoto English use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to count visits and how lessons are used: lessons started and finished, and which marks are given to which words. We never send names, email addresses or anything your child says. You can block these statistics with any ad or tracker blocker and everything keeps working.

Deleting your data

Use “Erase progress” on the grown-ups screen, or write to purpleredicecream@gmail.com and we'll delete everything tied to your account.
